    Hi Emerson,

I applaud your work and have long thought about implementing old games, board games, etc in COBOL - and here you are doing it. Well done !

People whinging about the 43 MB file size - a mere pittance of a file these days. A "Hello World" Unity demo is 13+ MB last I created one - and that's without ANY graphics or sound.

People also making snide comments about the PayPal donate button - just so people can support your work if they want to. You are giving away the game *AND* the source code for free.

Plenty of web sites virus scan larger files. e.g. here's the VirusTotal virus scan I did of this back on 26-Aug-2016 (56 virus checkers): https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/a6260fb1c8cae181e0b5f8642d0513884e586b9095e1de7f6cbabe0861d31483/analysis/1472208712/

Anyway, some people just love to whinge and complain. Ignore the haters Emerson. Do not let them take the wind out of your sails.

How are you going with Dig Dug ?
Any more updates for Lunar Lander ?

Keep up the excellent and pioneering work !

Just been playing Emerson's Lunar Lander the game again (1st time since last Aug, and I only gave it a quick try back then). It's actually really fun and has lots of new ideas / elements that elevate this game well beyond a Lunar Lander clone.
I've landed on Mercury, Venus, Earth, the Moon, and Mars, but not Jupiter yet ... that was one evil place ....
For anyone who may be interested in trying out this game:
    * Each level is different - different gravity, different background graphics, and Venus has clouds, Mars has strong winds, the Moon has the oribiter to dodge, and Jupiter .... holy mackerel !!!
    * And there are Easter Eggs. Spoiler alert. Example: I was not sure what would happen when I tried to go beyond the edge of the screen - bounce back ? wrap around to the other side ? None of these happened - but what happens is surprising and it made me burst out laughing. Hint: there's something "out there" that does *not* like being disturbed.
Anyway, sure is a fun game, and obviously Emerson has poured a lot of time and love into it.
And it is written in COBOL - which I thought would have been celebrated here in
a COBOL forum - instead of the rotten reaction the game got. WTF ?????
Anyway, I'm now off to try and land on Jupiter and then Saturn and ....
