i just connected at 2:37 EST... i didn't try to log in but
i did test if one could just hit enter in a blank login
field a few times and get the system to drop the
connection... after ten or fifteen enters, i dropped the
    connection manually...
Also could you please also check out uploading a file. I
am xperiencing disconnects when I try.
what protocol? are you using internal or external

Thanks for the connection. There is a guest account. I can send you login and password but not here.

I used zmodem to upload and when it finishes it disconnects and then when I log
back in there is no file uploaded.

EZY Prison Board is nearly fully functional.

    1. All message bases have been setup and a steady stream of echo mail coming in to the board.
    2. FidoNet file bases have been setup (selected ones, not all) and files are coming in. You can provide feedback to sysop for other file areas you might be
    interested in receiving.
    3. Upload and Downloads are working great with PDZModem as the zmodemprotocol,
    thanks to Stephen!
    4. Many card games and word games are installed and running great.
    5. Beginning to install Role Playing games (LORD and Lord2 are setup), more to
    come in the near future.

EZY Prison Board can be reached at ezypb.darktech.org:2424

Use NetRunner v2.0 Beta 17 for best results. Download available from EZY Prison Board and Mystic Prison Board (pb.darktech.org:24)

Well, hope the problem can be found and resolved. I am using opendit to respond, from Ezycom.

This system is a point off the Mystic Prison Board so I will check there to make sure mail is received there is fine.

Mystic feeds Ezycom bbs and is not behind a sbbs. Ezycom sends mail to my Mystic which then feeds it to 1:123/500 (which is the e-star.com). Sending echo mail from EZY, the EZY processes for uplink to Mystic Board
(when checked the complete message is there) and from Mystic to its hub,
    Ross Cassell at 1:123/50.

So assuming it is ok from Ross's then it should be ok to all others from

    Mark,

This is everything I get from his Ezycom. Yet if I log onto Nick's BBS his message is there fine. (Yes this is my point but on my BBS it looks the same).

    1. are you saying that you're getting those empty messages that someone else posted about recently?

    2. what mail processing software is running on the last two systems in the above PATH line?

    Yes.

As I'm getting blank messages BEFORE my system touches them... I know Nick Andre (My uplink) uses D'Bridge. As I've said the messages are on his BBS so it's really very confusing.

    ok...

you've looked at the raw PKTs coming from your uplink?

I know Nick Andre (My uplink) uses D'Bridge. As I've said the

not really confusing but since he is away for a few weeks, he cannot be asked to look at the raw PKTs he receives and the ones he creates before they are transmitted... since the messages appear fine on his board he must have gotten a good PKT with the message in it... it is highly unlikely the PKTs can/will be modified in transit, so what you receive should be what his system created... if the raw PKT has a blank message in it, then the system that created that PKT is where the problem resides... pretty simple unfortunately...

is anyone not connected to or downstream from 229/426 seeing blank messages also?

are those seeing the blank messages seeing the same ones as blank or are they different ones that are blank?
