He has been trolling usenet as well as blogs for decades and the
pattern is almost always the same. He joins a group or blog and within
a short time a once decent place to discuss topics turns into a shit
show the likes of which have never been experienced before. At least
not by the groups snit pollutes.
And this same outcome has been spot on for decades.
It's highly predictable so don't waste time researching what has
already been proven as factual.

Here is an accurate description of the snit troll. I don't usually
follow alt.computer.workshop but I am confident that you will be able
to match his current behavior to this description.

The takeaway is if you want your group to continue to exist, you will
filter the snit troll and not encourage him.
It's also a good idea to filter the people who keep responding to him.

FWIW, I think it's probably best that some people learn for themselves
what snit is all about. They aren't going to listen to any solid advice
warning them. Just my opinion, of course.

He appeared in one of the gun groups and seemed reasonable at first.
He played that game rather well I might add, for a decent amount of time
and several posters, including myself, took the bait.

At some point snit was exposed as a troll and asked to stop cross posting
to other groups but he still continued to wreak havoc so finally he was
asked to leave the group which he did.
I guess even an idiot like snit was smart enough not to fuck around with
gun nuts.
That was a wise decision in my opinion.

You are correct in that people really do need to discover for themselves
what a steaming piece of shit snit is.

But not in a way you can quote.

For some people it takes longer than others and that's alright because eventually everyone reaches the same conclusion regarding snit.
