    New features
    WebTunnel bridges
You can now use WebTunnel bridges to connect to the Tor network from Tails. >WebTunnel is a bridge technology that is particularly good at circumventing censorship
and might work from places where obfs4 bridges are blocked. WebTunnel disguises your
    connection as ordinary web traffic.
To get WebTunnel bridges, visit https://bridges.torproject.org/.
    Changes and updates
    Update Tor Browser to 14.5.5.
    Update Thunderbird to 128.12.0.

just curious . . . "ublock origin" works great in other browsers (i've been using it in pale moon, to record streaming content, movies, tv series, thus eliminating television commercials, everyone should be using this extension) also works in tor browser, but torproject recommends _not_ using extensions:

    https://duckduckgo.com/?q=extensions+site%3Atorproject.org >https://forum.torproject.org/t/should-i-install-a-new-add-on-or-extension-in-tor-browser-like-adblock-plus-or-ublock-origin/718
Should I install a new add-on or extension in Tor Browser, like AdBlock Plus >or uBlock Origin?
It's strongly discouraged to install new add-ons in Tor Browser, because they >can compromise your privacy and security. See this Support article: Should I >install a new add-on or extension in Tor Browser, like AdBlock Plus or uBlock >Origin? https://support.torproject.org/tbb/tbb-14/

but i'm only a casual user, so after testing ublock in tor browser, it's so much better than not using it, i'd be loathe to disable "ublock" ever again

another "tails" question, again, quoting from omnimix' mouse-over tool tip:

    Always<
    Before<
    After<
    Never<
Deletion of the remailer packet pool before/after Mixmaster/Yamn calls.
The remailer pool directory ('mix\pool'), where Mixmaster and Yamn put newly created packets, are routinely cleared before and after processing to avoid unauthorized access.
But keeping those files may be useful in high security settings where messages
composed on an isolated offline computer are there converted into encrypted remailer packets, which then, to be forwarded to the remailer network, can be transferred to an online computer on a removable device.
At the offline computer select 'Never' and switch to Simulation Mode to avoid unsuccessful sending attempts while creating remailer packets. Then move those
files to the online system's remailer pool folder, where you have to select 'After' instead of 'Always' to keep the injected files for delivery eg. with the next processed (dummy) message.
    Default: Always

what "tails" program could be used in conjunction with previously/separately encrypted remailer packets, for sending them to their intended destination(s) does thunderbird work for this? just asking, since tails seems to be popular (afaik, omnimix won't run in debian or maybe it will? i've never used linux)
