Samsung Galaxy A16 and Weather App

I have a Samsung Galaxy A16 that has the original weather app
installed. (I guess it is a Samsung Weather app...)

I have noticed that the weather widget on the Home screen never auto
refreshes itself. Only when I click on the weather widget and launch
the weather app are things like the current temperature refreshed.

The setting for the weather app is set to Auto Refresh in the Weather
Settings screen. So I do not understand why the weather widget in the
Home screen does not auto refresh...

Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you can't make the Samsung weather app do what you want, you might
consider the one I use that I like a lot, called "Weawow", available on
the Play Store.

If you can't make the Samsung weather app do what you want, you might consider the one I use that I like a lot, called "Weawow", available on
the Play Store.

I don't use weather apps all that much unless it matters (where in the SF
Bay area California, for 9 months of the year, the weather is the same
every day), but one option is the free "Automation" tool from Llamalabs.

You'd likely need to use something like Muntashirakon AM to identify the Activity in the weather app that needs to have its buttons pressed by
Automate, and then have that button pressed every hour (or whatever).

Seems like that might be out of the skill set of the OP so the next option
is to find a weather app that updates as frequently as the OP desires.
