I know, I know; too many of these announcements. But, again, that's
just because Amazon had to screw up the schedule with their "Prime
Day" shenanigans. We're back on our regular schedule now, though, so
don't expect another announcement after this for a while ;-)
Because of the aforementioned shenanigans, we only get a tiny handful
of games this time... and they're pretty bottom of the barrel too. But
free is free. It's not like any of us are paying Amazon solely for
these games anyway.
* Heroes of Loot (via GOG)
A top-down dungeon-crawler / shoot-em-up with retro
graphics. Can you hear the yawn in my voice as I type this?
Meh, I say. Absolute meh.
* Venba (via GOG)
A narrative cooking game where you try to reconnect with
your family and heritage through making virtual foods.
Also, retro graphics. More meh.
* I Love Finding Wild Friends (via Legacy)
It wouldn't be an Amazon Prime Gaming give-away without
the requisite hidden-object garbage from Legacy games.
This game only wishes it could reach the high standards
of being 'meh'.
It's the depths of Summer so I'll give Amazon the benefit of the
doubt, but these offerings are few and paltry* and barely worth the
effort of checking the website. Hopefully we'll get better pickings in
two weeks.
See you all then!
* the food is lousy, and so small too!
