Sorry, I couldn't help but borrow the topic from that other post.

In truth, I think the game itself doesn't look all that exciting, and
    probably isn't to H1M3M's tastes (it seems more like a walking-sim /
visual novel focused more on the story than the actual LAN Party
aspect)... but given the recent discussion about LAN Parties, I just
    had to post a link.

None of the screenshots are how I remember the LANParties I visited.
Those were a handful of wobbly tables in a dingy, ill-lit auditorium. Everything is too clean and well set-up ;-)

I love the asthetic, and I hope it can run in Proton.

Well, I could be interested if it happens to be able to tell a good story.

For realism, it would need events like:
    - Building your own network cables and testing them (oh, wait, it has
    it. That's actually good).
    - At random times a neighbour will bang the door/walls or call the cops
on you (lower the volume asap, hide the beers)...
    - FNAF style mini game where you attempt to stay awake while keeping
your friends in sight. Failure to do so will end with you waking up with "LAMER" written in your face with a marker

Looking at the screenshots, one of them reminds me more of the times
playing Counterstrike and Half-Life Deathmatch at a very shady cybercafe (which was actually well lit). There a ton of things in those
screenshots that don't make a lot of sense, though:
    - Different standards for electric sockets (european), keyboards (ANSI)
    - The anachronistic stew of posters ranging from the 80s to to parodies
    of obama era posters.

That's the problem when you use pre-made assets (and that it's still in
a very early development stage). But oh well, at least I can't see a lot
    of AI generated crap.
