Another Lacuna question... There is at least some PS/2 support for
XT-IDE (See McIDE). I have a 76i, and it has a 3c529 with a boot ROM
socket. I've tried the McIDE firmware, as well as the two official
XT-IDE firmwares labeled "ps2", but I can't seem to get the system to
use the boot rom. I set a ROM location using the REF disk. Is there
more magic to this? Is there a known PS/2-compatible boot ROM that I
can use to test my setup?
thanks
mike
I'll watch your efforts from afar.
