Where did you get this from?

    LinkedIn, of course!

    This may help too:- https://i.ibb.co/LXtfG3Kk/Image-26-08-2023-

For some reason, when clicking on the link in that image, the 'y' (two
of them) have been removed from the URL and it say "page not found" (or similar!)

    Like this:-  httos://www.canadacompanvregistrv.com/companies/etresoft-inc/

This is what it SHOULD show:- https://www.canadacompanyregistry.com/ companies/etresoft-inc/

    Can anyone explain, please?

    Thanks.

I've just noticed that https was also changed ..... to httos

Some tools will do automatic OCR, though, to try to read it. Sounds like whatever tool you used had a failure in that.

Newer versions of Apple's operating systems have the silly "Live Text" 'feature' that automatically tries to create normal text, links, phone numbers, etc. from words in images. It 'works' in many apps, but not
all. Like any optical character recognition, it can be rather hopeless, especially on low-quality images, small font sizes, or blurry
high-compression images. It is really just another useless Artifical Intelligence gimmick that does not work properly and is designed to
make fools waste money on a newer, more powerful computer to get all
    the new toys.

Just ignore the rubbish and simply retype the text yourself. Even
better, turn the nonsense gimmick off completely: <https://www.macrumors.com/how-to/disable-live-text-mac/>

I am a little surprised that Brock McNuggets was unaware of this feature; Perhaps he'd simply forgotten about it and/or turned it off on his Mac.

YOUR expertise is respected and appreciated. Thanks again for posting.

All I do is hover my cursor over the blue font item(s) and it turns into
an active link. This only happens with Safari, not Firefox or Chrome.

Newer versions of Apple's operating systems have the silly "Live Text" 'feature' that automatically tries to create normal text, links, phone numbers, etc. from words in images. It 'works' in many apps, but not
all. Like any optical character recognition, it can be rather hopeless, especially on low-quality images, small font sizes, or blurry high-compression images.

It has its limitations but I find it works very well.

It is really just another useless Artifical
Intelligence gimmick that does not work properly and is designed to
make fools waste money on a newer, more powerful computer to get all
    the new toys.

It works well for me. Well is not the same as perfectly.

Just ignore the rubbish and simply retype the text yourself. Even
better, turn the nonsense gimmick off completely: <https://www.macrumors.com/how-to/disable-live-text-mac/>

Most honest folk don't remove their persona from LinkedIn.

Where did you get this from?

    LinkedIn, of course!

    This may help too:- https://i.ibb.co/LXtfG3Kk/Image-26-08-2023- >>>>>>>> at-10-09.jpg[....]

For some reason, when clicking on the link in that image, the 'y' (two >>>>>>> of them) have been removed from the URL and it say "page not
    found" (or similar!)

    Like this:- httos://www.canadacompanvregistrv.com/companies/etresoft- >>>>>>> inc/

This is what it SHOULD show:- https://www.canadacompanyregistry.com/ >>>>>>> companies/etresoft-inc/

    Can anyone explain, please?

    Thanks.

I've just noticed that https was also changed ..... to httos

    Odd!

You clicked a link on an image?

    *YES*!

The lowest three items in a blue font are LIVE links! (Using Safari)

    No, it is am image.

Some tools will do automatic OCR, though, to try to read it. Sounds like
whatever tool you used had a failure in that.

Using Shottr I had it look at a rectangle and it got this:

Rectangular selection from the image. This is just a mock up of such a selection but gives the idea:

The OCR just "saw" what I selected (the darker rectangle).

All I do is hover my cursor over the blue font item(s) and it turns into
an active link. This only happens with Safari, not Firefox or Chrome.

Not even loading for me right now. But it is still OCR. Odd it errored like
    that.

Can you please explain the 'jumble' shown in your post at the left side?

Rectangular selection from the image. This is just a mock up of such a
    selection but gives the idea:

The OCR just "saw" what I selected (the darker rectangle). >>>>>>>>>>>
    Ah! NOW I understand!

    Glad to help.

Btw, the links in that darker part of your image STILL 'work' for me.

    VERY clever tech! ;-)

    It is pretty amazing.

i'm just completely knocked out by the whole thing

Seriously, I feel like I live in a sci-fi world.

Fair enough. Tom Lehrer has a lot of good stuff. All free, too.
